I’ve been writing my whole life – to escape, to process, to make sense of life.
From a short film about eating disorders to a cabaret exploring the effects of male violence, I’ve been trying to share my own experiences in a creative format to hold out a hand to those with similar experiences, to create understanding and transform pain into power.
Isobel Jacob (she/her)
I aspire to create theatre that is urgent, radical, and platforms voices that aren’t always listened to. I get excited about working on plays which interrogate form, integrating movement with language and text, and the creation of new, non-traditional work. I am part of Burning Attic Theatre Collective and Director of our latest interview-based project looking at A Spec experiences and media representation. Co-creation is at the heart of my practice and another big part of my work is focused on engaging with communities and young people, in particular: I love making “youth theatre” settings more ambitious, daring and theatrical.
Ella Bowsher (she/her)
I am a producer and theatre worker currently based in Edinburgh.
I am passionate about producing theatre that uplifts marginalised voices, with a focus on disabled and queer work. I work in accessible theatre and have toured the UK working on disability led shows. I have a particular interest in Deaf theatre and creative interpretation. I hope to help create work that can provide new perspectives and challenge preconceptions.
Oli Fuller (they/he)
Oli is an award winning queer theatre maker. He is passionate about creating theatre that is joyfully queer and uplifts audiences. They trained in stage management and have since worked as an artist, designer, technician, reviewer, production manager and pretty much any other role required to bring queer stories to the public eye
